Café Voor Schone Kunsten(Nederlands)
Café Voor Schone Kunsten is een levende tentoonstellingsruimte in Trefpunt Café, waar kunst geruisloos het dagelijkse leven binnensluipt.
Ontstaan vanuit het idee dat kunst niet alleen thuishoort in galerieën, maar ook tussen glazen, gesprekken en halfgehoorde verhalen, brengt het project het werk van opkomende kunstenaars rechtstreeks naar de cafétafels, muren en hoeken.
Elke maand nodigen we jonge, internationale kunstenaars uit — elk werkend in hun eigen discipline en stijl — om hun werk te tonen in deze onconventionele setting. Hun tentoonstellingen gaan vaak gepaard met een creatieve workshop, en af en toe met een lezing, filmavond of ander publiek moment — telkens gelinkt aan het werk of de discipline van die maand.
Deze momenten worden gecureerd en begeleid door Rojin Delfan, die de kunstenaars gedurende het volledige proces ondersteunt.
Wat dit project bijzonder maakt, is niet alleen de kunst, maar vooral de setting:
een pop-upgalerie in een functionerend café, omringd door echte mensen, op echte momenten.
De voorbije twee jaar organiseerden we in toenemend ritme tentoonstellingen, workshops en performances.
Gaandeweg groeide er een collectief rond het project — Ork Ork Ork — dat de toekomst ervan mee vormgeeft als een gedeelde, door kunstenaars geleide ruimte.
Wat Komt daarna?
We bereiden ons momenteel voor op het seizoen 2025–2026, dat loopt van september 2025 tot juli 2026.
De Open Call is nu live — en we nodigen kunstenaars, performers, curatoren en workshopbegeleiders van harte uit om een voorstel in te dienen.

Café Voor Schone Kunsten(Engels)
Café Voor Schone Kunsten is a living exhibition space inside Trefpunt Café, where art quietly slips into everyday life. Born from the idea that art belongs not only in galleries but also among glasses, conversations, and half-heard stories, the project brings emerging artists’ work directly to the café tables, walls, and corners.
Each month, we invite young international artists, each working in their own discipline and style, to share their work in this unconventional setting. Their exhibitions are often accompanied by a creative workshop, and now and then a talk, film evening, or lecture—all linked to the artist’s work or medium. These moments are curated and guided by Rojin Delfan, who supports the artists through the full process.
What makes this project special is not just the art, but the setting: A pop-up gallery in a functioning café, surrounded by real people, in real moments.
Over the past two years, the project has hosted exhibitions, workshops, and performances in a growing rhythm. Along the way, a collective — Ork Ork Ork — has formed around the project, shaping its future as a communal, artist-led space.
What’s next?
We’re currently preparing for the 2025–2026 season, which will run from September 2025 to July 2026.
